MIC has received a report proposing revision of Radio Protection Guidelines

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has received an advisory report from the Information and Communications Council which proposes partial revision of Radio Protection Guidelines in high requency range.

The report includes guideline values to protect human body from radio wave emitted by wireless devices such as mobile phones used within 10 cm from human body in > 6 GHz frequency band, for which currently no guideline values are provided.

MIC will amend related laws to include proposed revision based on the report.
